Skid Car experience - Rockingham, Northamptonshire
Vehicle: Saloon car mounted on hydraulic frame, typicaly a BMW.
Ever wondered what happens when your car goes into a skid?
This is the best way to learn how to control a skid, to prevent a skid and have a lot of fun at the same time in a safe controlled environment.
You will learn all about oversteer and understeer from expert instructors.
Course Duration - Total time approx 2hrs 30mins: 20 minute briefing (format of experience/techniques required); 30 minutes driving time; followed by debrief (question and answers and certificate presentation).
Course Numbers - There will be between 1 and 6 other people taking part in the session. Your vehicle is shared between three drivers and all drivers are in the vehicle together taking turns to drive.Restrictions - Participants must possess a full UK driving license, be of a height between 5'0" and 6'4" and weigh less than 17 stone. Participants will be required to sign a disclaimer before taking part. Each experience starts with a briefing from one of our senior instructors explaining:
• The format of the experience
• The techniques required for each experience.
Once your activity is over, your instructor will debrief you. You’ll also receive a certificate of completion and if applicable a written assessment. Not to mention a memory that is yours forever!
